¿Cuándo comenzaste a trabajar en Ventus Construcciones? ¿Qué experiencia previa tenés?

Comencé a trabajar en el equipo de Ventus Construcciones en abril de 2020, para construcción de un polo tecnológico que se está llevando a cabo en el departamento de Cerro Largo, además de una escuela en Melo y otra escuela en Rio Branco.

Soy Arquitecto y anteriormente fui jefe de obra en distintas empresas del rubro durante unos 10 años. Estuve involucrado en proyectos residenciales, de oficinas y de estructuras.

¿Cómo se compone el equipo de Ventus Construcciones en obra? ¿Qué impacto tendrá el nuevo proyecto en la comunidad?

Para las tres obras en conjunto, tenemos un equipo compuesto por mí, como jefe de obra, una administrativa y un capataz que lidera las obras. En cada obra en particular hay un responsable que maneja el día a día, asegurando el cumplimiento de la planificación realizada por nuestro equipo.

Evidentemente la construcción de estas obras está causando un gran impacto en la ciudad, dado que se está generando trabajo y movimiento en cuanto a servicios y suministros. Es de especial relevancia y notoriedad en el marco de esta pandemia, que ha reducido sensiblemente la actividad de la localidad.

¿Qué desafíos ha representado este tipo de construcción?

En este momento, las obras están en la etapa de movimiento de suelo y cimentaciones. El desafío más importante que hemos tenido es el causado por las lluvias en esta época del año. Para poder corregir esto, se está realizando un máximo aprovechamiento de los días con buen tiempo y generando contenciones y desvíos para manejar el agua de la lluvia.

¿Qué diferencial crees que puede brindar Ventus Construcciones a sus clientes en el área de construcción civil?

Como grandes diferenciales de Ventus Construcciones es la calidad del trabajo realizado así como el empuje de sus profesionales, que son una mezcla de juventud y experiencia que permite alcanzar grandes resultados.

When did you start working at Ventus Construcciones? What previous experience do you have?

I started working in the Ventus Construcciones in April 2020. I was hired to build a technology hub that is taking place in the Cerro Largo department, as well as a school in Melo and another school in Rio Branco. I am an architect, and previously I was construction manager in different companies in the field for about 10 years. I was involved in residential, office and structural projects.

How is Ventus Construcciones team composed on site? What impact will the new project have on the community?

Our team is composed by me, as site manager, an administrator and a foreman who leads the works. In each particular work there is a person in charge who manages the day to day operations, ensuring compliance with the planning carried out by our team.

Obviously the construction of these works is causing a great impact in the city, because it is generating work and movement in terms of services and supplies. It is of special relevance and notoriety in the context of this pandemic, which has significantly reduced the activity of the town.

What challenges does this type of construction represent?

At this time, the works are in the stage of ground and foundation movement. The most important challenge we have had is caused by the rains at this time of the year. In order to correct this, we try to maximise the work on days of good weather and  we have generated containment and diversions to manage rainwater.

What differential do you think Ventus Construcciones can provide to its clients in the civil construction area?

One of the great differentials of Ventus Construcciones is the quality of the work carried out as well as the capacity of its professionals, who are a mixture of youth and experience that allows achieving great results.
