DESEMBARCAMOS EN ARGENTINA

El pasado Jueves 30 de Junio realizamos el lanzamiento formal de Ventus Argentina en el hotel NH City de Buenos Aires.
Contamos con la grata presencia de más de 80 invitados, entre ellos amigos, clientes, empresarios, colegas y medios de prensa en un cálido encuentro donde conversamos entre todos, generando una productiva instancia de networking y distención.
De nuestra empresa, los Ingenieros Juan Pablo Saltre y Francis Raquet realizaron una breve introducción repasando los orígenes y el desarrollo de Ventus.
Juan Pablo nos recordó que “Hoy Uruguay cuenta con 850 MW operativos y va a terminar el 2017 con 1500 por lo cual podemos decir que en más de la mitad de los MW de Uruguay tuvimos una gran incidencia”, mientras que Francis habló sobre la expansión internacional de Ventus, mencionando que «contamos con una oficina operativa desde este año en Argentina, realizamos trabajos en Bolivia, Perú, Panamá, y próximamente estaremos presentes en México y Colombia”
Luego dieron lugar a Leonardo Barragán, Country Head de Argentina y Sales Director de LatAm para dar el puntapié formal a la empresa en el país.
Según Leo la compañía “ha tenido un crecimiento exponencial con el auge de la energía renovable en Uruguay, brindando servicios a lo largo de todo el ciclo de vida de los proyectos y, construyendo parques llave en mano para las industrias y es muy fuerte la apuesta en este proceso de internacionalización”.
Concluida nuestra introducción, Oscar Ferreño (Ingeniero Industrial y Académico) compartió «Los 4 Mitos de la Eólica» defendiendo la robustez de este tipo de energía, con una presentación informativa que se puede descargar al final de esta entrada.
Estamos muy entusiasmados con este gran paso, aportando todo nuestro know-how con mucha fuerza ayudando a la Argentina a diversificar su matriz energética incluyendo más fuentes renovables en el sistema.

We were very grateful to welcome more than 80 guests, among them friends, clients, business people, colleagues and the media in a warm meeting where we talked all together, creating a productive networking and entertaining event.
From our company Juan Pablo Saltre and Francis Raquet did a brief introduction going over the origins and development of Ventus.
Juan Pablo reminded us that «Today Uruguay has 850 operative MW and will have 1500 by 2017, therefore we can state that we have made an impact on over half of Uruguay’s MW», while Francis spoke about Ventus’ international expansion, mentioning that «we have operative offices in Argentina as of this year, we carry out works in Bolivia, Peru, Panama and soon we will be present in Mexico and Colombia».
Later, they gave way to Leonardo Barragán, Country Head of Argentina and Sales Director of LatAm to give the formal kick-start to the company in this country.
According to Leo, the company «has grown exponentially with the peak of renewable energy in Uruguay, providing services throughout all the projects’ life cycle and, building turnkey wind farms for the industries and there is a lot of commitment with this process of internationalization».
Once we finished the introduction, Oscar Ferreño (Industrial Engineer and Academic) shared «The 4 myths of Wind Power» supporting the robustness of this kind of energy, with an informative presentation which can be downloaded at the end of this entry.
We are very excited about this huge step, bringing all of our know-how with a lot of strength, helping Argentina to diversify their power grid including more renewable sources to the system.
