Interview with Andr\u00e9s Causa, Manager of DIS Engineering and Responsible for Ventus Industrial Solar Projects<\/em><\/p>\n [\/tp]<\/p>\n [tp lang=\u00bbes\u00bb not_in=\u00bben\u00bb]<\/p>\n \u00bfQu\u00e9 rol juega Ventus en el crecimiento de las energ\u00edas renovables?<\/strong><\/p>\n Una de las especialidades en Ventus es la integraci\u00f3n de proyectos de energ\u00eda a la red. Por la demanda de potencia del sistema, producto de la necesidad de un cambio en la matriz energ\u00e9tica, Uruguay se convirti\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente en un pa\u00eds de gran penetraci\u00f3n e\u00f3lica. En este marco Ventus se destac\u00f3 como la empresa l\u00edder en realizar proyectos EPC llave en mano.<\/p>\n Las fortalezas m\u00e1s importantes de Ventus residen en los servicios dentro de la cadena de producci\u00f3n de generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda:<\/p>\n Selecci\u00f3n del generador > Conectividad Interna > Subestaci\u00f3n > Interconexi\u00f3n con la RED<\/p>\n Gracias a esta fortaleza, hemos trabajado junto a importantes empresas internacionales brindado servicios en etapas cr\u00edticas de plantas solares de hasta 50MW, por un total que supera los los 116 MWp.<\/p>\n En la actualidad estamos trabajando en dos proyectos solares industriales en modalidad EPC llave en mano (TK), por un total que supera los 200kWp instalados, para dos prestigiosas empresas uruguayas. Nos encontramos en negociaciones para desarrollar varios nuevos, con el objetivo de superar 1 MWp instalado en 2017.<\/p>\n \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 invertir en solar?<\/strong><\/p>\n La energ\u00eda solar es limpia e inagotable, que contribuye a disminuir las emisiones de CO2, y que tiene una vida \u00fatil de entre 20 y 30 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n Es una fuente de energ\u00eda modular, que se adapta a estructuras preexistentes (ejemplo: techos o estacionamientos), es de f\u00e1cil traslado, y requiere una baja inversi\u00f3n en mantenimiento.<\/p>\n De todos modos, el valor m\u00e1s importante de la solar es que no establece una barrera de entrada para consumos o tama\u00f1os de proyectos, y puede adaptarse a las necesidades puntuales de abastecimiento de un hogar, o de una empresa mediana o grande.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Es una alternativa de proyecto de inversi\u00f3n muy interesante para cualquier industria, y que se puede ajustar al modelo de negocio del cliente.<\/p>\n \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 Ventus?<\/strong><\/p>\n Porque somos una empresa con m\u00e1s de 6 a\u00f1os de vida, desarrollando, construyendo y operando proyectos energ\u00e9ticos, que ha participado en m\u00e1s de 1000MW construidos.<\/p>\n Al ser una empresa EPCista trabajamos en todas las etapas de los proyectos, tanto e\u00f3licos como solares. Esto nos brinda la posibilidad de conocer todas las etapas del proyecto, y por lo tanto poder generar planificaciones m\u00e1s integrales y adelantarnos a posibles errores.<\/p>\n Desde Ventus desarrollamos an\u00e1lisis puntuales, espec\u00edficos y adecuados a las necesidades de consumo de energ\u00eda de nuestros clientes, y a partir de ello recomendamos inversiones a medida de las necesidades de los clientes optimizando as\u00ed sus inversiones en energ\u00edas renovables.<\/p>\n [\/tp]<\/p>\n [tp lang=\u00bben\u00bb not_in=\u00bbes\u00bb]<\/p>\n What role does Ventus play in the growth of renewable energies?<\/strong><\/p>\n One of the specialties at Ventus is the integration of energy projects into the grid. Due to the demand for power in the system, and due to the need for a change in the energy matrix, Uruguay quickly became a country with great wind penetration. In this framework Ventus stood out as the leading company in carrying out turnkey EPC projects.<\/p>\n Ventus’ most important strengths lie in services within the power generation chain:<\/p>\n Selecting the Generator> Internal Connectivity> Substation> Network Interconnection<\/p>\n Thanks to these strengths, we have worked with important international companies to provide services during critical stages of up to 50MW solar plants; adding to a total that exceeds 116 MWp.<\/p>\n Currently we are working on two industrial solar projects in EPC turnkey (TK), with a total that exceeds 200kWp installed, for two prestigious Uruguayan companies. We are in negotiations to develop several new ones, with the objective of exceeding 1 MWp installed in 2017.<\/p>\n Why invest in solar?<\/strong><\/p>\n Solar energy is clean and inexhaustible, which helps to reduce CO2 emissions, and has a useful life of between 20 and 30 years.<\/p>\n It is a modular energy source, it adapts to pre-existing structures (eg.: roofs or parking lots), it is easy to move, and requires a low investment in maintenance.<\/p>\n However, the most important value of solar is that it does not establish an entry barrier for consumption or project sizes, and can be adapted to the specific needs of a small or medium-sized household.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n It is a very interesting investment project alternative for any industry, and it can be adjusted to the customer’s business model.<\/p>\n Why Ventus?<\/strong><\/p>\n Because we are a company with more than 6 years developing, building, operating energy projects, and have participated in more than 1000MW built.<\/p>\n Being an EPC company we work in all stages of a project, both wind and solar.
