In the construction sector, be it renewable or infrastructure, having the ability to provide results in a timely manner is key. Ventus expanded the base of its business, going from being exclusively a renewable energy company to being a constructor of renewable projects and infrastructure. What does this new line of business consist of and how can it be incorporated into Latin American markets?<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2019, we decided to expand the base of our business, and we created Ventus Construcciones. The natural synergies of the sectors in which we operate, the great capacity of our professionals to adapt to different business scenarios, as well as a need to optimize the services we provide to our clients led us to make this decision.<\/p>\n Today the company builds more than 10 projects between Argentina and Uruguay that range from technological poles, educational centers, bridges, sewers or buildings. We aim to continue growing in the region from the consolidation of our company in the different geographies in which we operate.<\/p>\n The health crisis has presented different challenges for the industry. How is the company preparing to face them in 2021?<\/strong><\/p>\n Supported on the know-how of our professionals, we trust to continue growing in 2021, and to expand the capacity of our company in the renewable and construction area.<\/p>\n In Colombia, the company has executed and commissioned 2 solar projects in the midst of the pandemic, and is currently building 3 more solar projects. In Chile, Ventus was awarded more than 177 MWp in 7 projects. In Uruguay, the company has been awarded with 12 solar projects for industrial self-consumption that sum up 7 MWp, including the largest self-consumption project in Uruguay. What other markets in the region could be of interest to continue developing renewable energies?<\/strong><\/p>\n The growth of the company has been based on the ability to successfully execute projects beyond geography or any particular situation. Beyond the pandemic context, through tight logistics planning and a solvent team work, we have managed to position Ventus as a benchmark EPCist in the region.<\/p>\n This allows us to explore the possibility of growing outside of Latin America, mainly in the United States. \nEn Colombia, la empresa ha ejecutado y puesto en marcha 2 proyectos solares en medio de la pandemia, y actualmente construye 3 proyectos solares m\u00e1s. En Chile, logr\u00f3 la adjudicaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 177 MWp en 7 proyectos. En Uruguay la empresa ha sido adjudicada con 12 proyectos solares para autoconsumo industrial que redundan en 7 MWp, entre el que se incluye el proyecto de autoconsumo m\u00e1s grande del Uruguay. \u00bfQu\u00e9 otros mercados de la regi\u00f3n pueden ser de inter\u00e9s para continuar desarrollando las energ\u00edas renovables? <\/span><\/p>\n
