\nEstuvimos presentes en el II Congreso Latinoamericano de Energ\u00eda E\u00f3lica y las VII Jornadas Internacionales de Energ\u00eda E\u00f3lica, que se realizaron el lunes 13 y martes 14 de junio en el LATU.<\/p>\n

En representaci\u00f3n de nuestra empresa disertaron el ingeniero \u00d3scar Ferre\u00f1o, director-gerente y, el ingeniero Vasilii Netesov, encargado de Estimaci\u00f3n y Control de Producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Ferre\u00f1o habl\u00f3 sobre\u00a0\u201cHallazgos y revelaciones de la experiencia e\u00f3lica uruguaya, ca\u00edda de mitos\u201d. El ingeniero destac\u00f3 cuatro hallazgos: \u00abla buena calidad de la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica que permite grandes porcentajes de penetraci\u00f3n; los costos competitivos; la inexistencia de variaciones bruscas de potencia y; la falta de necesidad de respaldar a la e\u00f3lica con potencia t\u00e9rmica\u00bb. Algunos de \u00e9stos hallazgos destac\u00f3 Ferre\u00f1o,\u00a0\u00abson in\u00e9ditos a nivel mundial\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Netesov disert\u00f3 acerca de la \u00abOptimizaci\u00f3n del rendimiento de aerogeneradores con el LiDAR de g\u00f3ndola. Verificaci\u00f3n de curva de potencia y evaluaci\u00f3n del rendimiento aerodin\u00e1mico de los aerogeneradores.\u00bb Para su ponencia, present\u00f3\u00a0los resultados de la campa\u00f1a de medici\u00f3n realizada al LIDAR instalado en el Parque E\u00f3lico Caracoles; un proyecto realizado en conjunto con UTE.<\/p>\n

El encuentro fue organizado por la Asociaci\u00f3n Uruguaya de Energ\u00eda E\u00f3lica (AUDEE) , www.audee.org.uy y,\u00a0cont\u00f3 con la asistencia de m\u00e1s 350 personas.

\nVentus participated in the 2nd Latin American Wind Power Congress and the 7th International Wind Power Conference held on June, 13th and 14th in LATU, the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay.<\/p>\n

Ventus Director and Manager Oscar Ferre\u00f1o and Ventus Manager of Production Estimates and Control Vasilii Netesov, were selected as the speakers to represent our company.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ferre\u00f1o spoke about \u201cFindings and revelations of the Uruguayan wind power experience, tearing down myths\u201d and highlighted four findings: \u201cgood quality of the wind power, which allows high penetration rates; competitive costs; lack of abrupt power variations; and no need for thermal power to support wind power. He also pointed out that most of these findings are \u201cunprecedented in the rest of the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Mr. Netesov spoke about \u201cOptimization of the wind turbine performance with nacelle LiDAR. Power curve verification and evaluation of aerodynamics performance of wind turbines\u201d. During his presentation, he introduced the findings of the measurement campaign conducted with the LiDAR installed in Caracoles Wind Farm, a project carried out jointly with UTE, Uruguay\u2019s National Administration of Power Plants and Electrical Transmissions.<\/p>\n

The event was held by the Uruguayan Wind Power Association Association (AUDEE), www.audee.org.uy, which was attended by more than 350 participants.
