\u201cJuan Pablo. En copia te env\u00edo el plano donde quedar\u00eda instalado el aerogenerador. Es un poco extra\u00f1a la ubicaci\u00f3n. Justo atr\u00e1s del estacionamiento. Queda en el patio trasero de la f\u00e1brica. \u00bfLo mando as\u00ed? \u00bfte parece normal?\u201d. Algo del estilo recuerdo me escrib\u00eda Emiliano, en aquel entonces dibujante de la empresa que a\u00fan trabaja hoy con nosotros, como arquitecto proyectista y referente del \u00e1rea, mientras prepar\u00e1bamos la oferta para quien ser\u00eda nuestro primer proyecto de autoconsumo industrial, la lanera Engraw en Uruguay.<\/p>\n

No recuerdo si me parec\u00eda normal o no. Al menos, no era convencional y, mucho menos parte del paisaje de nuestro pa\u00eds en aqu\u00e9l entonces. Hac\u00eda poco m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os hab\u00edamos instalado nuestro primer parque e\u00f3lico para generaci\u00f3n, en un pa\u00eds \u00e1vido por transformar su matriz el\u00e9ctrica. Y apenas unos meses despu\u00e9s, cuando a\u00fan la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica era toda una novedad, est\u00e1bamos adaptando este modelo de renovables exclusivamente para industrias.<\/p>\n

Son muchas las historias que hemos vivido en estos primeros 10 a\u00f1os de Ventus, pero este hito siento que engloba el modus operandi de esta peque\u00f1a empresa creada por compa\u00f1eros y profesores en facultad de ingenier\u00eda, devenida en esta empresa multinacional y multisectorial. Me refiero a percibir el cambio como una constante.
\nDesde nuestros comienzos hemos entendido el negocio de este modo. Siempre hemos percibido que la clave del \u00e9xito ha sido preparar nuestra estructura y capacitar a nuestra gente a ser flexibles ante el cambio. Cuanto m\u00e1s atentos al contexto mejor preparados estaremos a los cambios que, inevitablemente, siempre llegan.
\nCreo que esto ha sido fundamental para, en su momento, lograr posicionarnos en nuestro pa\u00eds y en la regi\u00f3n como un referente en energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica, logrando consolidarnos como expertos en la implementaci\u00f3n de soluciones renovables, y hasta ser la primera empresa privada en exportar energ\u00eda desde Uruguay.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed es como desde 2016 hemos estado implementando generaci\u00f3n solar fotovoltaica, sumando hoy m\u00e1s de 15 proyectos construidos en industrias en Uruguay (incluyendo la planta solar m\u00e1s grande de autoconsumo) y otros 2 proyectos en Argentina. En Colombia, recientemente entregamos la primer planta operando y nos encontramos construyendo otras 4 que totalizan 60 MWp, mientras que en Chile son 3 plantas en construcci\u00f3n por m\u00e1s de 16 MWp.
\nDe este modo es que hemos brindado asesoramiento y servicios de gerenciamiento o ingenier\u00eda por m\u00e1s de 6.000 MW en todo el continente, llevando los logros aprendidos en nuestro pa\u00eds de origen a otras geograf\u00edas.
\nPor esta tendencia al cambio casi innata es que hace unos a\u00f1os hemos comenzado a estudiar y aprendimos sobre las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas que conformar\u00e1n las energ\u00edas del futuro, nos integramos verticalmente para poder ofrecer soluciones en construcciones civiles, y hoy nos encontramos con un robusto equipo de profesionales capaz de dar soporte en la construcci\u00f3n de cualquier estructura en Uruguay.
\nHemos aprendido a entender y atender a las comunidades locales donde hemos construido proyectos, procurando generar sinergias con las culturas y formas de actuar de cada comunidad. Y lo que no hemos aprendido, lo aprenderemos. Porque est\u00e1 en el ADN de Ventus: cambiar y adaptarnos para satisfacer las necesidades de nuestros clientes.
\nHoy celebramos nuestros primeros 10 a\u00f1os de trabajo, y en lo personal celebro con gran satisfacci\u00f3n que entre todos los que formamos Ventus hayamos logrado reproducir a trav\u00e9s de los m\u00e1s de 300 colaboradores que componen nuestra empresa, ese \u00edmpetu por aprender, cambiar y mejorar de forma permanente.<\/p>\n

Desde Ventus nos comprometemos a seguir aprendiendo, cambiando y mejorando para seguir siendo referente en la industria renovable de nuestro continente.<\/p>\n

\u00abJuan Pablo. Attached you will find a plan where the wind turbine would be installed. The location is a bit strange. Right behind the parking lot. It’s in the backyard of the factory. Do I send to the client anyway? Does it seem normal to you this location? Something similar to this I remember wrote to me Emiliano, at that time a draftsman for the company who still works with us today, as a project architect and a referent in the area, while we were preparing the offer for what would be our first industrial self-consumption wind project for Engraw, a wool mill in Uruguay.<\/p>\n

I don’t remember if it seemed normal or not. At least, it was not conventional at that time, much less part of the landscape of our country in those years. Two years before that, we installed our first wind farm in Uruguay, a country that was eager to transform its electricity matrix. And just a few months later, when wind energy was still a novelty, we were adapting this renewable model exclusively for industries.<\/p>\n

There are many stories that we have lived in these first 10 years of Ventus, but I feel that this milestone encompasses the modus operandi of this small company created by colleagues and professors in engineering faculty, which became this multinational and multisectoral company. I mean, by perceiving change as a constant.<\/p>\n

From our beginnings we have understood the business in this way. We have always perceived that the key to success has been to prepare our structure and train our people to be flexible in order to face changes regularly. The more attentive to the context, the better prepared we will be for the changes that inevitably always come.<\/p>\n

I believe that this has been fundamental to position Ventus in our country and in the region as a benchmark in wind energy, achieving consolidation as experts in the implementation of renewable solutions, trough achieving milestones such as being the first private company to export energy from Uruguay.<\/p>\n

This is how since 2016 we have been implementing photovoltaic solar generation, today adding more than 15 projects built for industries in Uruguay (including the largest solar plant for self-consumption) and another 2 projects in Argentina. In Colombia, we recently delivered the first operating solar plant and we are building another 4 that total 60 MWp, while in Chile there are 3 solar farms under construction for more than 16 MWp.<\/p>\n

We have provided advice and management or engineering services for more than 6,000 MW throughout the continent, taking the achievements learned in our country of origin to other geographies.<\/p>\n

Due to this almost innate tendency to change, a few years ago we began to study and learned about the new technologies that will shape the energies of the future, we vertically integrated to be able to offer solutions in civil constructions, and today we find a robust team of professionals able to support the construction of any structure in Uruguay.<\/p>\n

We have learned to understand and serve the local communities where we have built projects, trying to generate synergies with different cultures. And what we have not learned, we will learn. Because it is in Ventus DNA: we change and adapt to meet the needs of our customers.<\/p>\n

Today we celebrate our first 10 years of work, and personally I celebrate with great satisfaction that among all of us who make Ventus we have managed to transmit to more than 300 collaborators that compose our company, the impetus to learn, change and improve in a permanent way.<\/p>\n

From Ventus we are committed to continue learning, changing and improving to continue being a reference in the renewable industry of our continent.<\/p>\n
