\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo comenzaste a trabajar en Ventus? \u00bfQu\u00e9 experiencia previa ten\u00e9s? \u00bfEn qu\u00e9 rol te desempe\u00f1\u00e1s en la actualidad? <\/strong><\/p>\n En la actualidad me desempe\u00f1o como Gerente de Operaciones de Ventus Uruguay. Desde Uruguay manejamos tres departamentos: ejecuci\u00f3n de Proyectos, Ingenier\u00eda y Oficina T\u00e9cnica (que se encarga de la presupuestaci\u00f3n). En la actualidad, manejo un equipo de m\u00e1s de 20 personas, que var\u00edan sus tareas de acuerdo a las necesidades que marcan los diferentes proyectos y oportunidades. Si bien a priori esta coordinaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda parecer compleja, la propia formaci\u00f3n y conocimiento integral de los profesionales que integran Ventus facilita mucho esta tarea de asignaci\u00f3n de responsabilidades.<\/p>\n \u00bfCu\u00e1les crees que han sido los desaf\u00edos m\u00e1s importantes que le ha tocado sortear al equipo?<\/strong><\/p>\n Los principales desaf\u00edos pasan por poder atender desde Uruguay las diferentes necesidades de nuestros clientes, tanto externos como internos, en varios pa\u00edses de Sudam\u00e9rica y el Caribe. En la actualidad brindamos apoyo a los distintos pa\u00edses donde la empresa posee operaciones locales, como Chile o Colombia. Adem\u00e1s, buscamos llevar nuestro know how a los distintos lugares del continente en los que la empresa tiene proyectos.<\/p>\n Otro de los principales desaf\u00edos que nos marcamos de forma constante, es mantener la \u201cversatilidad\u201d de los profesionales que componemos Ventus, para poder trabajar en distintas etapas de proyectos tanto solares como e\u00f3licos.<\/p>\n \u00bfQu\u00e9 diferencial crees que puede brindar Ventus a los clientes?<\/strong><\/p>\n M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ser referentes en la construcci\u00f3n de proyectos EPC, creo que el gran diferencial de Ventus reside en el asesoramiento continuo a sus clientes para optimizar sus recursos energ\u00e9ticos, creando proyectos a medida para cada uno de ellos.<\/p>\n El vasto conocimiento de las distintas tecnolog\u00edas renovables, as\u00ed como la experiencia de trabajar en pr\u00e1cticamente todas las geograf\u00edas del continente, permite a Ventus tener gran precisi\u00f3n a la hora de brindar soluciones a sus clientes.<\/p>\n [\/tp]<\/p>\n [tp lang=\u00bben\u00bb not_in=\u00bbes\u00bb]<\/p>\n When did you start working at Ventus? What previous experience do you have?<\/strong><\/p>\n I got my degree in Industrial Engineering in 2010. Since then Uhave worked in areas of coordination, engineering and project management at Abengoa for more than 7 years. In this period I worked in various industrial projects in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.<\/p>\n With the experience gained working in different cultures, I decided to return to Uruguay to be able to turn over the knowledge acquired in its growing renewable energy industry. At the end of 2017 I joined Ventus as head of Engineering team in Uruguay, where one of our technical \u00abpoles\u00bb is located, from where we provide support to the rest of the region.<\/p>\n In what is your main role today?<\/strong><\/p>\n Currently I work as Operations Manager in Ventus Uruguay. From Uruguay we manage three departments: Project execution, Engineering and Technical Office (which is responsible for budgeting). Currently, I manage a team of more than 20 people, who vary their tasks according to the needs of the different projects and opportunities. Although this coordination could seem complex, the training and comprehensive knowledge of the professionals that compose Ventus facilitates this task of assigning responsibilities.<\/p>\n What do you think have been the most important challenges that the team has had to overcome?<\/strong><\/p>\n The main challenges are to be able to serve from Uruguay the different needs of our clients, both external and internal, in several countries of South America and the Caribbean. Currently we provide support to the different countries where the company has local operations, such as Chile or Colombia. In addition, we seek to bring our know-how to the different places in the continent where the company has projects.<\/p>\n Another of our main challenges we set ourselves constantly, is to maintain the \u00abversatility\u00bb of the professionals that compose Ventus, to be able to work in different stages of both solar and wind projects.<\/p>\n What difference do you think Ventus can provide to customers?<\/strong><\/p>\n Beyond being a reference in the construction of EPC projects, I believe that the great difference of Ventus lies in the continuous advice to its customers to optimize their energy resources, creating customized projects for each one of them.<\/p>\n The vast knowledge of the different renewable technologies, as well as the experience working in mainly all the geographies of the continent, allows Ventus to have great precision when it comes to providing solutions to its clients.<\/p>\n [\/tp]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [tp lang=\u00bbes\u00bb not_in=\u00bben\u00bb] \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo comenzaste a trabajar en Ventus? \u00bfQu\u00e9 experiencia previa ten\u00e9s? \nCon la experiencia alcanzada trabajando en distintas culturas, decid\u00ed regresar a Uruguay para poder volcar el conocimiento adquirido en la creciente industria de las energ\u00edas renovables. A finales de 2017 ingres\u00e9 a trabajar en Ventus como responsable de Ingenier\u00eda para el equipo de Uruguay, donde se encuentra uno de nuestros \u201cpolos\u201d t\u00e9cnicos desde donde brindamos soporte al resto de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
