Hace unos meses Duncan Bell y Lucas Narbondo, ingenieros formados en Ventus, fueron adjudicados con la Beca Chevening, que otorga el gobierno del Reino Unido en conjunto con la ANII a j\u00f3venes talentos. En Uruguay se entregaron 7 becas, de las cuales 2 fueron adjudicadas a nuestros representantes.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe tenido la suerte de desempe\u00f1arme como Project Manager en la empresa durante 3 a\u00f1os. All\u00ed he tenido la oportunidad de crecer junto al sector renovable del pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como a lidiar con desaf\u00edos y adversidades que me han permitido crecer como profesional y como persona. En Ventus he aprendido el valor del trabajo bien hecho, y el compromiso con los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares de calidad\u201d, coment\u00f3 Duncan Bell, Ingeniero Civil, quien est\u00e1 cursando una maestr\u00eda en Planificaci\u00f3n de Transporte en la Universidad de Leeds.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Lucas Narbondo, Ingeniero El\u00e9ctrico de formaci\u00f3n, que ingres\u00f3 a Ventus a comienzos de 2016 como Analista en Redes El\u00e9ctricas de proyectos e\u00f3licos y solares, est\u00e1 cursando una maestr\u00eda en Future Power Networks en la Imperial College of London, agreg\u00f3: \u201cm\u00e1s all\u00e1 del conocimiento incorporado en la empresa a trav\u00e9s del estudio del impacto de la inversi\u00f3n renovable en el \u00e1rea el\u00e9ctrica, el aporte m\u00e1s importante de la empresa ha sido afirmarnos como profesionales integrales, capaces de dar respuestas eficaces y eficientes. Creo que esta ha sido una contribuci\u00f3n clave para poder alcanzar el logro alcanzado\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ventus es una empresa l\u00edder del sector renovables en Uruguay, y referente en la regi\u00f3n. Creada en el a\u00f1o 2010, el personal de la empresa ha crecido de forma exponencial a lo largo de los a\u00f1os. Al d\u00eda de hoy en la empresa operan m\u00e1s de 100 profesionales, en m\u00e1s de 10 pa\u00edses del continente.<\/p>\n

A few months ago, Duncan Bell and Lucas Narbondo, engineers trained at Ventus, were awarded with the Chevening Scholarship. This scolarship is granted to young talents by ANII and the United Kingdom government. In Uruguay, 7 scholarships were awarded, two of which \u00a0were awarded to Ventus\u00b4 engineers.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00abI have worked in Ventus as a Project Manager for almost 3 years. There I had the opportunity to grow along with the renewable sector of the country, as well as dealing with challenges and adversities that have allowed me to grow as a professional and as a person. At Ventus I have learned the value of a job well done, and the importance of commiting with the highest quality standards\u00bb said Duncan Bell, Civil Engineer, who is pursuing a master’s degree in Transportation Planning at the University of Leeds.<\/p>\n

Lucas Narbondo, Electrical Engineer, who joined Ventus at the beginning of 2016 as Analyst in Electrical Networks for wind and solar projects, is studying a master’s degree in Future Power Networks at the Imperial College of London, added: \u00abbeyond the knowledge incorporated in the company through the study of the impact of renewable investment in the electricity area, the most important contribution of Ventus has been to affirm ourselves as integral professionals, capable of giving effective and efficient answers. I think this has been a key contribution to achieving this opportunity \u00ab.<\/p>\n
