\nLa empresa Ventus, que administra y opera aerogeneradores de energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica, export\u00f3 por primera vez energ\u00eda a Argentina, luego de recibir la autorizaci\u00f3n de la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Energ\u00eda del Ministerio de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda, convirti\u00e9ndose en la primera empresa privada uruguaya en vender energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica al exterior.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

En setiembre de 2017 la compa\u00f1\u00eda firm\u00f3 un contrato con la argentina CAMMESA por la venta de energ\u00eda que generan los parques que opera Ventus. En el mismo mes la Secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda argentina aprob\u00f3 la importaci\u00f3n, que se realiz\u00f3 en la modalidad spot, de acuerdo a los procedimientos del Mercado El\u00e9ctrico Mayorista de Argentina y respetando las prescripciones del Convenio de Interconexi\u00f3n entre ambos pa\u00edses. Este convenio es interrumpible para casos en los que se necesite volcar la energ\u00eda a la red local uruguaya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este es el primer caso de una empresa privada uruguaya que logra comercializar energ\u00eda fuera del territorio nacional. Ventus, un proyecto creado por j\u00f3venes emprendedores, que invierte fuertemente en el pa\u00eds desde sus comienzos en 2010, es una empresa de ingenier\u00eda dedicada a construir parque e\u00f3licos y solares en modalidad EPC llave en mano, as\u00ed como brindar servicios para todas las etapas de los proyectos de energ\u00edas renovables, incluyendo el desarrollo, ingenier\u00eda, construcci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la comercializaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda. <\/span><\/p>\n

Actualmente Ventus opera 72,9 MW de potencia e\u00f3lica en Uruguay, generando 250.000 MWh por a\u00f1o, lo cual representa unos 150 millones de USD de inversi\u00f3n perteneciente a unas 34 empresas uruguayas. A su vez cuenta con oficinas y proyectos en Argentina, donde opera desde mediados del 2015 con gran suceso en el crecimiento del sector renovable, y recientemente ha expandido sus horizontes a Colombia y M\u00e9jico. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ventus, which manages and operates wind farms in Uruguay, exported energy to Argentina for the first time after receiving authorization from the National Direction of Energy of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, becoming the first Uruguayan company to sell electric power outside the county.<\/em><\/p>\n

In September 2017, the company signed a contract with Argentina’s CAMMESA for the sale of energy generated by the Wind farms operated by Ventus. In the same month, the Argentine Energy Secretariat approved the import, which was carried out in the spot modality, according to the procedures of the Wholesale Electricity Market of Argentina and respecting the requirements of the Agreement of Interconnection between both countries. This agreement\u00a0will be\u00a0discontinuated for cases in which it is necessary to use the energy in the Uruguayan local network.<\/p>\n

This is the first time a private Uruguayan company manages to commercialize energy outside the national territory. Ventus, a project created by young entrepreneurs, which started operating in Uruguay in 2010, is an engineering company dedicated to building wind and solar farms in EPC turnkey modality, as well as providing services for all stages of renewable energy projects, including development, engineering, construction and operation, as well as energy trading.<\/p>\n

Currently Ventus operates 72.9 MW wind power in Uruguay, generating 250,000 MWh per year, which represents about 150 million USD of investment belonging to 34 uruguayan companies. Ventus also operates in Argentina, where it has been operating since 2015 with great success since the growth of the renewable Energy sector in that country, and has recently expanded its horizons to Colombia and Mexico.<\/p>\n
