\nEn el marco de la b\u00fasqueda constante por ampliar sus horizontes, en el mes de septiembre Ventus abri\u00f3 sus oficinas en Colombia. <\/em><\/p>\n

Colombia es un pa\u00eds de gran riqueza de recursos naturales y con una orientaci\u00f3n marcada al crecimiento, el desarrollo y la mejora continua.<\/p>\n

Iv\u00e1n Zuluaga, Ingeniero en Electr\u00f3nica, que cuenta con una experiencia en desarrollos solares fotovoltaicos, ser\u00e1 el Country Manager de Ventus Colombia.<\/p>\n

A la hora de comentar acerca del desarrollo de las energ\u00edas renovables en Colombia, Zuluaga coment\u00f3: \u201cEl mercado est\u00e1 comenzando a evolucionar y hay una apertura muy grande hacia el cambio de la matriz energ\u00e9tica. En apenas un mes operando localmente hemos firmado una importante alianza con una empresa multinacional, comenzamos a desarrollar la ingenier\u00eda b\u00e1sica para un parque e\u00f3lico de 200 MW, y estamos midiendo el recurso e\u00f3lico y solar en varios puntos estrat\u00e9gicos del pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n

Colombia es un pa\u00eds que hist\u00f3ricamente se ha abastecido de fuentes de energ\u00eda convencionales como la hidr\u00e1ulica o los combustibles f\u00f3siles. Sin embargo, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, y como consecuencia de los fen\u00f3menos de El Ni\u00f1o<\/em>, el pa\u00eds ha visto estresada su matr\u00edz energ\u00e9tica por su alta dependencia h\u00eddrica.<\/p>\n

El gran potencial del territorio colombiano para la inclusi\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables, y la importante promoci\u00f3n del sector p\u00fablico y privado para el desarrollo de energ\u00edas limpias en el pa\u00eds, han empujado a nuestro equipo a ingresar en Colombia.<\/p>\n

Juan Pablo Saltre, CEO de Ventus, evalu\u00f3 con gran optimismo el ingreso de la empresa en el pa\u00eds: \u201cConfiamos en que la decisi\u00f3n del gobierno colombiano, de generar un marco para la inclusi\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables, permitir\u00e1 a Ventus volcar su experiencia de trabajo en casi todos los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica Latina.

As part of its constant search to broaden its horizons, Ventus opened its offices in Colombia in September.
\n<\/em>
\nColombia is a country with plenty of natural resources and with a strong focus on growth, development and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

Iv\u00e1n Zuluaga, Electronics Engineer, with experience in solar photovoltaic developments, will be the Country Manager of Ventus Colombia.<\/p>\n

Asked about the development of renewable energies in Colombia, Zuluaga commented: \u00abThe market is beginning to evolve and there is a very important promotion of the change of the energy matrix. After a month operating locally we have signed an important alliance with a multinational company, started towork in a basic engineering for a 200 MW wind farm, and we are measuring the wind and solar resource in several strategic points of the country\u201d.<\/p>\n

Colombia is a country that historically has stocked with conventional energy sources such as hydropower or fossil fuels. However, in recent years, and as a result of the El Ni\u00f1o<\/em> phenomena, the country energy matrix has been compromised due to its high dependence on water.<\/p>\n

The great potential of the Colombian territory for the inclusion of renewable energies, and the important promotion of the public and private sector for the development of clean energies in the country, bas motivated Ventus to enter Colombia.<\/p>\n

Juan Pablo Saltre, Ventus\u00b4 CEO, evaluated with great optimism the company’s Operations in Colombia: \u00abWe are confident that the decision of the Colombian government to generate a framework for the inclusion of renewable energies will allow Ventus to share its work experience in almost all the latinamerican continent now in Colombia.
