La sociedad Marystay, propietaria del Punta Shopping, firmó un acuerdo con Ventus para la construcción global de un Parque Eólico.

Ventus y Marystay S.A. suscribieron un contrato de Ingeniería y Construcción en julio de 2015, comprometiéndose a dejar el aerogenerador operativo antes del 31 de diciembre de 2016.

La sociedad tiene un contrato con UTE por la compra-venta de energía bajo un régimen de generación fuera de predio. Según explicó la ingeniera Florencia Tilk, Project Manager de Ventus, esto significa “que el shopping consume energía en Punta del Este, tomándola de la red de UTE y, por otro lado, el Parque Eólico genera energía en Libertad volcándola a la red de UTE.

Ventus asesoró a Marystay S.A. en el proceso de las negociaciones con UTE y  luego ofreció sus servicios para la construcción del parque en modalidad EPC – llave en mano.

Para la compañía de origen uruguayo,  el proyecto consistió en la instalación de un aerogenerador marca Vestas, modelo V100 2.0MW de 95m de altura de buje, en la localidad de Libertad, en el departamento de San José.

La empresa realiza la ingeniería, construcción, supervisión de obras, gestión de compras y contrataciones, gestión de todos los permisos y autorizaciones requeridas, gestión con el fabricante, gestión de aprobaciones técnicas con UTE y puesta en marcha de los aerogeneradores. “Estamos en cada etapa del proyecto, desde el inicio hasta la habilitación final por parte de UTE para vender energía”, según destacó Tilk.

Ventus ofrece servicios en áreas de desarrollo, campañas de medición y estimación del recurso eólico, ingeniería, asesoría, consultoría, construcción, montaje, pruebas y puesta en servicio, gerenciamiento, operación y mantenimiento de Parques Eólicos, a nivel nacional e internacional con una marcada expansión en el sector eólico.

The company Marystay, owner of Punta Shopping mall, has signed an agreement with Ventus for the construction of a wind farm.

Ventus and Marystay S.A. entered into an engineering and construction agreement in July 2015 and the operating wind turbine generator will be running by December 31st, 2016.

Marystay has already an offsite power purchase agreement with UTE (the National Administration of Power Plants and Electrical Transmissions company of Uruguay). As explained by the engineer and Ventus Project Manager Florencia Tilk, “the mall receives power from the UTE grid in Punta del Este and, on the other hand, the wind farm generates energy in Libertad and injects it into the UTE grid.”.

Ventus advised Marystay S.A. during the negotiation process with UTE and then offered its services for the construction of the farm as an EPC contractor (a turnkey project).

For the Uruguayan company, the project consisted in the installation of a Vestas V100 wind turbine with a 95m hub height and 2.0 MW rated power in Libertad, in the Department of San Jose.

Ventus is in charge of the engineer, construction, works supervision, purchasing and contract management, permits and licensing management, communication with the manufacturer, UTE technical approval management and turbine commissioning. “We are in all the stages, from the beginning to the final approval by UTE to sell power,” highlighted Project Manager Tilk.

Ventus offers services for the development, measuring campaigns and wind resource assessments, engineering, advisory, building, assembly, trials and commissioning, management, operation and maintenance of wind farms, at a national and international level, supporting the expansion of the wind energy industry in the region.
